"Because you were home"

Films: The Stangers (2008), The Strangers: Prey at Night (2018)

Alias: The Man in the Mask, Dollface, Pin-Up Girl

Type: Natural

Location: Haunted home

Height/Weight: That of average humans.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Killers don't need motivations most of the time. They just like to get their jollies murdering everyone. And the worst part? That's any real killer's motivation most of the time. Combine that with home invasion, and you've got yourself a scream.

History: This trio of terrors just wants to have some fun together. But that involves invading people's homes and killing all of the occupants, leaving behind their mutilated corpses. Lead by the Man in the Mask, these freaks are special ambush predators just itching to make you wish you could die.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: They get away with it the first time we see them, but the next time isn't so lucky. Dollface gets shot a bunch of times, Pin-Up Girl is stabbed to death, and the Man in the Mask is blown up, impaled with a glass shard, and then gets his brained bashed in with a baseball bat.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4-You cannot hear them. You cannot see them. It will be too late when you do. From their unendingly creepy masks to just how casual they are in their killings, this is a pack of slashers that'll make you want to bolt your doors for eternity.

Trivia: -This film was mostly based off the Tate Murders, the infamous killing of five people, Sharon Tate included, by the Manson family that broke Roman Polanski and was all orchestrated because Charles Manson couldn't get into the music industry. Director Bryan Bertino based the film mostly off of the book based on the murders known as "Helter-Skelter".

-The screenplay for this film was originally titled "The Faces".

Very wrong. VERY. I mean, really...

Yeah, I can hardly believe why they did it too.

"He looks at me...and I scream at him..."

If you call what goes on here 'kindness'.

Calling it now. It's called the Killer Bimbo Mask.
Having a shotgun, at least in this film-verse, might help. MIGHT.

What else needs to be said for the man who is always there, but not?

"Hello? Is it us you're looking for?"

So, what ironic music will you play this time?
Agents of Chaos have more rules than this!

"I know he's behind me. I'm just rehearsing my will."

Sorry, but that honor goes to the Yautjas.

"HERE'S...well, that would be telling."
And set up a few traps. It worked in Home Alone!

Yes, audience. Look away...

Better than dying by sitting on a pool vent, eh?
